Each Moment Matters Award
Last week I was so excited when I opened the mail to find a letter from the 2014 Each Moment Matters Nominations Committee. As I opened it and began to read it I was filled with humility and felt so honored to read that I had been selected as a 2014 Each Moment Matters Award recipient.
The letter read that some very special people to me had nominated me for the award given by the Presbyterian Communities and Services Foundation, “as someone who makes each moment matter by your impact on the lives of others through the fruit of the Spirit: ‘love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.’ (Gal. 5:22-23)”
I was blown away. I am so thrilled to receive this award but even more so thankful for all that God has done in and through my life. My life story can only be described by the goodness of God. He has held my hand and walked me through each step of the way. He has given me such an incredible, supportive wife and an amazing family. I am so thankful for all that He has done and continues to do. I pray that by receiving this award, I am able to share my story more and help people truly be inspired, impacted and informed about the goodness of God.
