A Great Season at CHC

It is during this season at CHC where I’m reminded of - Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

As many of you know we took a leap to do what God was calling us to almost 15 years ago! It was a big step of faith but we followed God’s lead and started Chris Howell Communications, LLC (full-time June 2013). We have experienced many of the emotions that most entrepreneurs feel. You question your decisions, work endless hours and figure out the road as you go.

Lately, we have been in an incredible season as a company. God has opened many doors and began to flood the company with incredible opportunities and amazing new business projects. And the past few months we have been incredibly blessed to receive two awards that I am so honored to receive. I have truly felt the favor and blessing of the Lord. The first was the 2014 Each Moment Matters Award and the second was being featured in Who’s Who Black Dallas.

The First Award given by the Presbyterian Communities and Services Foundation, “as someone who makes each moment matter by your impact on the lives of others through the fruit of the Spirit: ‘love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Gal. 5:22-23)

The Second honor showing that our company and the work we are doing is being recognized by the city. As a Dallas native (West Dallas), I consider it a great blessing to listed amongst some of the sharpest minds and talent that our fine city has to offer.

I tell you all of this just to say that God is good! He has blessed me beyond what I would’ve imagined and I have learned that when He calls you to take a big step of faith, He will be there to guide you along the way and point you in the right direction.

There is a time for everything and God sees it all and loves us right where we are at!

And as good as God has been already been, we are now positioned to form a great partnership with a company in Los Angeles that will allow us to play a significant role in furthering the message of faith based films…Stay tuned for more.
